The host will also include access to a control panel for managing your web space. Here you can setup email accounts for yourself, Edit your website with basic software and view general statistics about the usage of your website. Domain names are a vital part of the internet. The best way to think of a domain name is that it is your address and points to where your website is. Every website requires a domain name. You can get domain names by contacting us or another web host provider.

.IE Domain Names

In Ireland our domain’s end in .ie and are managed by the IEDR . You can never buy a domain name outright but only rent it for a year at a time. Sometimes you can rent if for several years at a time. In order to get a .ie domain name you will need to prove that you are an Irish Business operating in Ireland. To do this you can registar a business name with the Companies Registration Office (CRO). This costs €20 and they will issue you with a cert that has a registered number. You can then use these number to get your domain name.

.COM Domain Names

These domain names are open to everyone in the world and because of that it can be very hard to get the one you want. It is much easier to get and take as little as 20mins. Again you will have to go to a web host provider like ourselves.
